My story

For more information about this Dane, please visit our website at www.rmgreatdane.org. Adoption Applications can be found on the home page.Well, Hello there!  My name is Gypsy Rose and I am a rare antique just waiting for someone who appreciates a mature and dignified Lady Dane.   I am crate trained and house trained and I’m really good with free roam of the house.  I’m not wild about my humans leaving me alone – I pace and put my paws on the window sill looking for them to come back. I know some basic commands and I’m so eager to please, when Foster Fam tells me to sit, I do it so quickly my front paws come off the ground, tee hee.  I love car rides and Zoomies and treeing squirrelies.  Chasing insects is a great past time, too. I’ve lived with kids and cats, and I get along well with my friends at doggy day care.  Rather than lower myself to barking or begging, I ring a bell when I need to eat or powder my nose.  I am an accomplished Counter Surfer.  Loud things like fireworks, thunder, vacuums, big trucks and appliances are scary and sometimes they make me bark. If you are looking for a Golden Girl to share your home with, I’m looking for a great home to spend my golden years!  Come on, fill out an application or get on my waiting list!June 24, 2022, 12:08 am

More about this rescue

RMGDRI is a group of volunteers concerned with the welfare of Great Danes. Every day, we save the lives of Great Danes by funding their medical care, advanced surgical treatments, spay/neuters, food and shelter. As part of our mission, RMGDRI firmly believes that it is our responsibility to do all that we can for every Dane that comes into our haven, into our care. Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. is recognized as a major resource for the welfare of homeless, abandoned and abused companion animals Our goal is to lower euthanasia rates in our region by: 1. Bringing adoptable pets into our program for medical and social rehabilitation and re-homing. 2. Providing resources to pet owners to encourage their responsibility and commitment to their pets and prevent them from contributing to the homeless pet population. We want to continue to be a valuable resource to our community. We believe that one person can make the difference in the life of an animal in need, so as an organization, we have more strength to help more animals.
