My story

Please consider sponsoring a cat. For as little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.

Beau was formerly a neighborhood kitty in East Milton until an elderly woman who was moving from the area  moving into an assisted living home did not want to see him left behind and had someone leave him  on the steps at my foster pad in the August heat. . When he first came into foster care Beau was very shy and scared and would not allow any human near him. Since then Beau has blossomed into a big, black panther-like sweetheart who loves to be petted and brushed and waits by the door for you to come in so he can greet you and tell you how much he missed you and what all you missed around the home today. Beau is loyal, loving, and intelligent. He  enjoys quiet naps in the hammock or cat tree, birdwatching, and cuddling. He  and would make a perfect companion kitty in a quiet home alone or with another kitty.

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org .  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org or 850-780-3223.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization saving lives in the Florida Panhandle through adoption, spay/neuter and TNR of community cats.

We are always in need of foster homes and volunteers. If you find a kitty or dog and are willing to foster it - we can help you find it a furever home. Can't foster or adopt right now, help socialize kittens. The more people the kittens are exposed to the better is for them. We can always use volunteers. Work from home, work directly with animals, or work non-directly with animals helping us raise money or distributing fliers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE spay or neuter your pets! Escambia County pound puts down over 1,000 animals a month! Through spay/neuter we can reduce that number.
