My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HANDSOME. There's no other adjective to describe Snowball, a 4 year old white and yellow Pekingese. Thought to be highly aggressive in a shelter situation, surrounded by dogs over 10 times his size, Snowball is turning out to be a real mush. He's been most excellent in his foster home with the six other Pekingese and three cats. He gets down on all fours, tail wagging, and ready to play the "run up and down the hallway to drive mommy nuts" game with the rest of them! But, he isn't perfect and does have food aggression, which is being worked on with surprising success in the short time he's been here. And he has been known to bite children. So please don't apply if there are children in your home full time, or even as visitors if you are unable to keep them apart while they are there. Snowball will make a wonderful companion for an experienced Peke lover. He is being fostered in New Jersey and his requested adoption fee is $250. E-MAILS GET FASTER RESPONSES THAN PHONE CALLS.
