My story

Sometimes I am a bit shy so it's hard for someone to know by looking at me just how sweet and loving I am. Don't worry, I warm up quickly. I was rescued from a kill shelter and looking for my forever family. I've spent several weeks at Petco but now I'm taking a break with a foster family who say I am doing great! Adoption fee has been lowered so this sweet girl can move into a forever home.

Why adoption is a great option

Daisy, a Paso Robles American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Paso Robles, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Paso Robles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paso Robles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paso Robles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paso Robles paves the way for another one to be saved.
