My story

Lucky is looking for love, the permanent kind. In a house with people that will love on her and treat her like the awesome girl she is❤️
Lucky is an appropriate name for this head butting, cheek rubbing girl.
She was brought in as a stray in very rough shape , when I saw her, I truly wasn’t sure she would make it.
I believe it wasn’t her time and with good medical care she got Another Chance.
This girl is gaining much needed weight and looking for the loving, indoor home that she deserves.
If you think you might be the one, please call Another Chance Animal Rescue at 207 499-2855,
and a nice person will call you back to make an appointment to meet her! 🤞

Why adoption is a great option

Lucky, a Sanford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
