Favorite toys and activities: Sky loves chilling in his huts and running around the enclosure with his buddy Rudigar
Potty trained: Haven't tried
This animal’s daily routine: Sky gets his pellets for breakfast and veggies for dinner, but his favorite time is his afternoon vitamin C treat time! He doesn't have a routine for hanging out with his foster humans but is happy to do so anytime. He may not love being picked up, but he's happy to chill on the couch with you.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Yes, Sky & Rudigar are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction to: cats and rats, uninterested
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None
Health concerns: Sky has had a lower front tooth permanently removed due to infection and an incorrect growth pattern. He is fully healed from this removal and is happy and healthy. Sky should however receive frequent tooth checks as he may need trims periodically.
Behavioral concerns: None
Sky made his way back to MNPPR after his adopter no longer had time to provide care for him. Rudigar came to MNPPR after his cage mate passed away and the family was unable to take on additional pets.
Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Roseville PetSmart - 2480 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.
