My story

Treasured Animal Rescue highly recommends an adoption application be placed due to the high demand of kittens. Please go to: https://treasuredanimalrescueinc.org/adoption-application/

Hi there! My name is S'Mores and just like the yummy treat - I am super sweet!
I'm an active boy that likes to play, wrestle and check out things. I can be very silly and I love playing with my toys. I make my foster Mom laugh with my comical antics. I have a little show I call "my Zoomies". I do some acrobatics while zooming around.
When my foster Mom gets ready for work I chat with her. Sure, she doesn't understand kitty talk but I make her day with my chatter purrs.
I am good with other cats (I might play rough) and dogs.
Come on out and meet me!
Thanks,
S'Mores

S'Mores is located in our foster home in Oak Park. Sorry, Treasured Animal Rescue cannot adopt out of the State of Illinois

Why adoption is a great option

S'Mores, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
