My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our little Lucky puppy is approx. 7 - 8 months young, approx. 10 lbs.  Very sweet and affectionate, he is social with other friendly dogs and lived for a bit in a foster with cats.  His previous family surrendered him because his puppy energy was too much for their young toddler.  An active home with other dogs, kids or cats would be ideal for this adorable guy.  Lucky has been dubbed Lucky 'monkey' because he can climb baby gates and x-pens and could probably climb a fence.  A secure home will be necessary for this little monkey.

 We do not adopt out of state and do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis but rather to the home that is best suited for each particular dog and breed.  An application, home check, contract and fee are required for adoptions.  All dogs will be or required to be spayed/neutered NO EXCEPTIONS, current on vaccinations and mircochiped.  Our adoption fee is $300 for puppies 8 weeks - 5 years and $250 for dogs over 5 years.  Adoption fee covers everything mentioned above in addition to any additional medical expenses a health check with our vet and of course all the love and daily care we take with each dog before they are adopted. 

We believe a well behaved dog is a happy dog & companion.  Therefore, we require at least one session with one of our recommended trainers for a reduced fee of $150 paid directly to the trainer which is not included in the adoption fee.
