She has been waiting for a we bit, patiently, pretending like her feelings are not
hurt. Eagerly waiting for the family that’s meant to be. She hates to admit it but
prefers to be your one and only - the apple of your eye.
Don’t let Gabby’s age fool you. She’s 9 years old but young at heart and can talk
you into a game of chase over and over. Gabby loves to be chased. Gabby
loves car rides and enjoys going where her people go but can often be triggered
to over react when seeing new animals. With stern, consistent leadership from
her human(s), she can overcome and control herself. She likes playing fetch,
tug, zoomies in the yard with her people, enjoys pup cones, treats, puzzles, and
loves to cuddle up in your lap to watch tv and nap with you. And she gives the
best soft gentle kisses.
Gabby needs a loving leader who is willing to love her and truly invest in being
loyal to her as she will to her forever human.
Gabby will need stern and deliberate instructions, reinforcement, along with
consistent increments to new activities to allow her to build confidence and feel
the love, trust and respect you both will mutually earn with one another.
