My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rory is a female ginger.

Her foster describes her as very playful with her resident cat. She will like a play buddy in her new home and a parent who likes to play with her.

She is more the independent type, so far she does not care much to be held or to sit in someone’s lap. Although at night when we go to bed she likes to snuggle up around my neck and shoulders to curl up and sleep. Or sometimes the foster has woken up and she has settled between her legs. So she may become more affectionate with her forever person.

Her favorite toys are the little round puffballs that she can get her nails into and throw up in the air and chase after or some little round plastic balls that have a jingle bell inside which she’ll bat all around the house until it goes under something she can’t get to it. She loves playing with feathers that you fly around all over or a laser that she can chase.

Having another cat in the home is a solid requirement. We agree with the experts on cat companions, especially for kittens: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens

We are looking for a loving, forever indoor home that will love them, spoil them, and care for their needs.

All cats with Kudzu Cat Alliance have been combo tested for FIV/Felv, age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, spay/neuter, and microchip. Most of our kittens have come from a rough start, and we often invest a great deal of money getting them healthy and ready for a forever home. Our baseline per cat investment for a totally healthy kitten averages $150, and our actual cost can easily run into the hundreds. Our kittens under six months are $125, single cat adoption fee is $100, and to encourage PAIR adoptions our pair fee is $150 for cats and $200 for kittens. If you want to help us continue saving these often overlooked lives we welcome your adoption donation above these amounts.

If you see a cat listed here, YES, the cat is available for applications to be submitted for adoption consideration.
