My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Kubota and I'm a 6-year-old male Goldendoodle (50% Golden & 50% Poodle). I have a Goldendoodle personality and I'm bonded to Oakley, who is also a 6-year-old male (possibly 75% Golden & 25% Poodle). I have been with my buddy Oakley since we were both 12 weeks old and we will need to stay together. Even though we do like to “check in” with each other I am a little more independent than Oakley.

I have the typical goofy, Goldendoodle personality and I'm very loveable. Whenever my people watch TV or work in their office I am always by their side. I also have been known to counter surf at times but my foster home has been working with me on this bad habit.

I get very excited when I see the leash coming out because I just love going for walks and riding in the car. I guess you could call me a couch potato and very chill, except when I see people walking by the house, and then I like to bark at them. So maybe a quieter neighborhood or rural setting would be best for me without as much outside stimulation.

I weigh in at about 70 lbs. and do pull on leash when I see other dogs, but my foster has been working on that. I'm a pretty smart boy and I know sit, down and come. I will also sit patiently until given the “okay” to eat dinner.

A couple of my favorite things are tennis ball and toys. I do love to carry things around in my mouth like socks, kitchen towels, dish rags, etc. It is best that these are put away since I do like to eat them once in a while.

I will do fine with other mellow dogs, and my leash skills continue to see improvement (but I can still pull a bit and I'm strong). I have never been around cats. My best home would be in a quiet neighborhood or out in the country. A fenced yard is preferred! I would love to have older kids to play with. You can leave me alone during the day and I will find a good couch to lay on but I do love having my people home more often than not.

We are just two good guys that deserve a forever home and in return, we will reward you with years of love and companionship.
