Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phoebe is a 16 month old (born April 7th, 2020) black, English Labrador Retriever. I purchased Phoebe from a reputable breeder at 12 weeks of age. Phoebe is energetic, loving, sweet and enjoys playing with toys, swimming in the lake/pool, going for walks, and playing in the backyard. She does well riding in the car both on long and short trips.
Phoebe would thrive in a home with NO OTHER PETS AND NO SMALL CHILDREN/GRANDCHILDREN. Phoebe has serious issues with resource guarding around other dogs. She has bitten my other dogs. She has never been around small children. Both the behavioral trainer and veterinarian suggested she not go to a home with pets or children. It is not safe.
She is still a puppy and this behavior could possibly be corrected if she is in the right environment. I took her to the vet and she has a clean bill of health. I also had a consult with a behavioral trainer who suggested the best option for Phoebe was to rehome her with no pets/small children.
