My story

Treasured Animal Rescue highly recommends an adoption application be placed due to the high demand of kittens. Please go to: https://treasuredanimalrescueinc.org/adoption-application/

Hi, my name is Oliver and I am 16 weeks old.

I like to play with the other kitties that are here in my foster home. When I first came here from the shelter I was shy but learned playing with other kitties really helped. I like it when my foster Mom holds me and rubs my belly.

I spend my days playing with the other foster kitties. I like to wrestle and play chase with the other kitties. When it’s quiet time I snuggle with my new friend; the young girl that lives here. I am so lucky she lets me hang out in her room. Before I came here I was in a shelter and before that who knows. What matters is I get to hang out with this young girl and I am learning there’s special Humans that like kitties like me!

When I snuggle with my foster family they tell me about my forever family. I’m a bit too young to understand but I know it’s something good.

So I wait for my special day when I meet my forever family. Is that you?

Cheers!

Oliver

Oliver is located in our foster home in Elmwood Park.. Sorry, Treasured Animal Rescue cannot adopt out of the State of Illinois.

Anyone who knows black kittens - impossible to photograph! You must see this handsome boy in person.

Why adoption is a great option

Oliver, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
