Serena, a shaded red female Chow Chow, is around 3 years old. Serena is spayed with her rabies vaccinations, tag, license and microchip. She has her updated bordatella vaccination and her DHPP. Serena had a bad case of heartworms but after treatments that has cleared up. Serena's rescue was heartbreaking and she was near death when Tejas received her so her attractive appearance and her lovely demeanor turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

Serena is well behaved indoors and outside. Serena spends the majority of her time indoors. She is housetrained and crate trained, also riding well in a vehicle. Walking on a leash is a new experience but she does just fine. She is sweet and calm in character. Her energy level is medium to low and she is never destructive.Serena has never exhibited any aggressive behavior towards humans. She is fostered in a home with another male Chow and they get along just fine. Cats are ok also. Serena does dislike baths and nail trims. Serena, just like all Chow Chows, will need some time to learn to trust and receive affection from her new family.
