My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riku is an 18 month old red Shiba Inu. He was purchased as a 'gift', the couple broke up, and Riku was left in the backyard to fend for himself. He developed a bad case of flea dermatitis (from fleas) which Tejas has treated him. Riku has been neutered, microchipped, has his parvo/distemper vaccinations, bordatella and rabies vaccine and license. Riku is on heartworm prevention and has tested negative for heartworm disease. He weighs 26 pounds.

Riku is a happy guy being very slow to warm up to strangers but when he does - watch out-you have a buddy for life. His foster mom and Riku enjoy watching tv on the couch together while sharing popcorn. Riku is active and will need a doggie playmate. Squeaky toys are his favorite but he likes all toys. Riku enjoys being outside with his canine buddies but not being outside alone. He is house and crate trained. There is never a dull minute with this foxy little Shiba!!! An approved application is required. His adoption donation (tax deductible) is 400.00. Riku is fostered in a private home with other dogs.
