My story

Pepper is just that - hot stuff! Fun, silly, and ready to play all day, she craves an active person to involve her in life's adventures. While she doesn't seem to have had much experience with toys in her youth, she is ready to learn. Hikes, runs are right up her alley. No shared walls for this girl, since her excitement sometimes bursts out in song. She is too much dog for other pets and should be the only one in her home.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.
