My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Kahlua is currently in a foster home! She is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Cute as a button, happy as a clam, and busy as a bee - that's our Kahlua! She's an adorable 30 something pound mixed breed who looks like she's a Boxer but shrunk down! What a great little underbite she has!
Kahlua is a busy gal with a spunky streak! In the home, she spends a lot of time close to her human. Kahlua can be a little mouthy when she's excited, so she does best with teenagers and adults.
Kahlua was adopted in 2021, but with the death of her past owner, she made her way back to CCR. We always stick by our pups when they need us! Kahlua is petite, adoptable as heck and also gorgeous!!!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
