My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I got permission from his original owner to take Nico from a bad home situation. He lives with me and is trying to find his forever home.

10/10 GOOD BOY.

He’s 15 months old, under 25 lbs, vaxxed and a mix. He’s great with small children and other dogs. He has all of his shots and knows the following commands (though he is not always consistent with obeying them): off, come, down, sit, go pee, leave it. His favorite words are “eat” and “let’s go”. He knows not to jump on people and responds to off, but if he’s too excited he will try it. Doesn’t jump up on toddlers. Doesn’t chew up anything at home.

He will steal your socks and does not like to sleep alone. Stays home alone well as long as he can sit on the couch. Lover of blankets, ripping the hair off of tennis balls, and ice chips.

He barks at knocks and doorbells still and he hates having claws trimmed but stays calm for baths.

He is a light shedder and does not trigger my usual dog allergies.
