My story

Looking to give a long term shelter resident a forever home? I'm Cleodora, The Neenah Animal Shelters longest current resident. I have been at the shelter since August 2021. I am a big girl and have a lot of life and personality in me. Since I want your full attention at all times, I would need to be in a home with no other animals; but I promise to give you enough personality so you won't even want or need anymore pets. I am a strong, independent feline. I will tell you when I want cuddles and when I want to be left alone. As long as you can respect my boundaries and listen to my body language, I can respect yours. I enjoy sitting in the catio and watching the birds when I have time out of my kennel. I would love a nice window of my own to bask in. The shelter staff and volunteers have given me lots of love but I would love to have a human of my own someday!

Please note:
- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.
-Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)
- Our shelter no longer has open visiting hours, so a pre-approved application and scheduled appointment is needed prior to meeting any of our animals.

More about this shelter

For more than 50 years the Neenah Animal Shelter has been there for all kinds of animals in all conditions. When they have nowhere else to go, they can come to us, and we will help them find a new start in life--another chance to be loved.

In 1958 we opened our doors to take in the first of these heartwarming creatures. Since then thousands of animals--from street smart cats and white-faced retrievers to newborn kittens and bouncing pups--have come through our doors needing food, warmth, medicine and a forever home.

Please continue to support our shelter through adoptions and donations. With your help we can be there for the loving, trusting animals that depend on us for years to come.
