This wiggle butt's name is Sadie! Sadie came to AWLA from West Virginia along with her two puppies. While she has been a great mama dog, she is very ready to have someone else take care of her and be the center of attention from now on! Sadie has quickly wiggled her way into the hearts of our staff and volunteers, and we've already learned so much about her. Her favorite hobbies include giving kisses, playing with her stuffed animals (the squeakier the better!), and snuggling up to her favorite people. Sadie has met a couple of dogs here at the shelter and so far she seems to enjoy "co-existing" with calmer, more relaxed dogs. She will not do well in a home with cats or small animals. If you think your house could use a friend like Sadie, stop by the shelter to visit her!
Sadie is a STAFF PICK! Here's why Chief of Animal Control Jenn Toussaint picked Sadie: "Sadie is my staff pick because she is just such a good girl! She is a good listener, house-broken, an expert swimmer, loves playing with toys and treats, and is ready to learn new fun tricks. She already does "begging feet" which is so very cute - you'll have to see it in person! I think this sweet girl deserves a loving home because she has so much love to give".
If you are interested in adopting Sadie, please visit the shelter during our adoption hours.
