Sunshine is a 2 year old female spayed, Whippet/Chihuahua mix that appears to have a little bit of gazelle mixed in. She has legs that go on for days and she knows how to use them. There is no piece of furniture too high for her to jump on! This sweet girl came to us from California last month and has been getting accustomed to life in Virginia. She is extremely active and playful. She takes time to warm up to new people and really needs to work on her social skills. We would like for her adopter to take her to training classes to get her out meeting new people. She is housebroken and crate trained and is learning how to walk on a leash. She's wary of new dogs when she first meets them and gets snappy if they get in her face. Once she gets to know them she's very playful with them. Due to her nervous nature when meeting new people she cannot go to a home with children.
