“My name is Butters (formerly Waylon). I’ve been patiently waiting for a while now to find my forever family. I know in my heart that they’re out there looking everywhere for me.”

Butters spends his days playing in the warm sunshine with his siblings and foster siblings. He plays wonderfully with all other dogs, waits his turn at mealtime, shares his toys, and is never aggressive in any way. He loves cats, babies, kids, and all people. His favorite time of day is quiet time with his humans, cuddling on the couch and getting belly rubs. His favorite thing in the world is TREATS!! You can win his heart with yummy treats.
He’s doing well with house training. He learns quickly and almost always uses the puppy pads when he’s inside.
Butters’s eyes light up when he sees his humans. If his siblings are greeted first, he talks to you in the sweetest pittie language, throwing his head back and cooing like a dove, until he gains your attention. Once he has your full attention, he pretends to be bashful. He has learned that playing hard to get leads to treats. And TREATS are definitely the key to this boy’s heart!!!
