My story

Meet Miss Faith! She is a rambunctious, smart, sweet puppy. We estimate her to be almost 2 years old. She came to us from a severe neglect case, and was extremely skinny and unsocialized. She has come a long way since she was rescued, but still has a lot of learning to do. She loves her people once she trusts them, but has some insecurities, so slow introductions with people are key. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and spend time chilling on the couch. She also loves to fetch and go for walks. Essentially, she is a puppy in a 2 year old body, that loves to love but has a lot of world to discover!! By the way she LOVES men, so if you are a guy looking for a new furry companion, she is your girls!!!

Faith is curently in a board and train facility in LaCrosse WI (this is where her meet and greet will occur), where they are teaching her to trust new people. She does great with men and will give you a longing look until you decide to come over and say hi. She is slower to meet women, but if you avoid initial eye contact at first, and use her name with treats, she adjusts quickly. She has learned that fellow furry friends are a great thing and LOVES to play! She does have a lot of power behind her shenanigans so a larger dog is the best match. Small breeds may find her way too intimidating. She has never met a cat, but her interest in small fuzzy things such as squirrels is so great, we think a home without cats is a good choice.  Additionally, we would also recommend a home without young children. She is so powerful, that littles may get knocked over during play time. We think with more training and discipline, she could settle into a home with older kids, but now she just has too much enery behind her love.

Ideally, we are looking for a patient, disciplined adopter that can help Faith learn and grow the proper way to associate with her humans and canine friends. We know she can be a champion for her breed, and we want a family that will help her do that. She is a determined, smart, goofy girl that needs boundaries and rules to learn how life works and teach her the tools to be successful! Please at least consider a meeting to see if she is a good fit for you. We think she is truly a diamond in the rough, that deserves to have a loving family!

Faith's adoption fee is $475 and will arrive fully vetted, altered, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

New Beginnings Animal Rescue is a not for profit animal rescue founded in 2016. It is our goal to focus on the rescue of urgent and unwanted animals in need. All animals are provided with routine, emergency, or specialized medical care that they deserve. Furthermore, we go beyond medical care to rehabilitate animals with behavioral issues due to past trauma through the use of positive reinforcement techniques provided by our trainers and behaviorists. New Beginnings Animal Rescue is located in the Albertville, MN, and we rescue animals both locally and from the southern states. All animals stay in a foster home until they are deemed ready for adoption medically, emotionally, and physically. We are incredibly passionate about what we do at New Beginnings Animal Rescue! This rescue was founded based on our love for animals, our need for the public to have an outlet for unwanted animals, and because we truly believe all animals deserve a second chance!
