My story

Available for Adoption in the Midwest and the Northeast: Thunder!!
Thunder might not look like a Lab, but he is a cutie who is so deserving of a family!!!!!

Thunder came to Lucky Lab with heartworms and was treated and is now more than ready for a home of his own!!! He is a medium-sized dog, about 45 pounds. He is also medium energy. His age is estimated to be approximately two years.

Thunder gets along with other dogs. He is shy at first with people, but quickly warms up and is affectionate.

Thunder is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and micro-chipped. If you think he may be the dog for you, please apply to adopt at

Why adoption is a great option

Thunder, a Brattleboro Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
