Summer is a petite tortie girl, about 4 years old, who was trapped when her kittens were found in a woodpile. The rescuers didn't want to deal with mom cat, who was not really sure about people, so she came to us. It took her several weeks to trust, and although she seems to love attention and can be sweet and affectionate, she is not a lap cat and can get a little swatty if over-excited. She's also happy to be left alone to hang out in a sunny windowsill and have you adore her and scratch her behind the ears every once in a while. She is living with other cats but we really cannot tell if she is best with or without other cats. She seems intimidated by some but then will get excited to see another cat when we try her separate from the rest of the cats. Given her initially shy nature, a home without dogs and young children is preferred. Please help us get her into a situation where she can thrive!

Summer has been spayed and is current on vaccines, and will be micro-chipped as part of the adoption.
