My story

Summer is a petite tortie girl who was trapped when her kittens were found in a woodpile. The rescuers didn't want to deal with mom cat, who was not really sure about people, so she came to us. It took her several weeks to trust, but now she is sweet and affectionate, but not a lap cat. She's happy to be left alone to hang out in a sunny windowsill. She is skinny and picky about her food, so really needs someone to pamper and spoil her. She is living with other cats but shows no interest in them; she'd do great as an "only child". Given her initially shy nature, a home without dogs and young children is preferred.

Summer has been spayed and is current on vaccines, and will be microchipped as part of the adoption.

Cat Zip/Campus Cats adopts to indoor-only homes and require the adopter to bring a cat carrier for safe transport. No set adoption fee - we ask for a donation of your choice to help us help more cats like Summer.

We don't have a set adoption fee, but do ask for a donation to help us help more cats. We do have a short questionnaire that we ask potential adopters to fill out via email so that we can be sure we are matching the right cat with the right FOREVER home!

More about this rescue

The mission of Cat Zip/Campus Cats is to humanely manage and reduce the number of community cats on the University of Georgia campus and in surrounding neighborhoods and counties through our community cat management/TNR program, barn cat program, and adoption program. We will not take in or relocate unwanted community cats.
