My story

Meet Scampi a crazy, full of energy and loves to talk kitten. Scampi was found outside of Red Lobster during the last big snowstorm in January 2021. Scampi needed some time to figure out inside life and that humans were good. Now she loves running around talking to you while she tries to get your attention to pet her. Her favorite toy is a cat nip taco. She gets along great with other cats, hasn't been around dogs and would be better suited for a family with older children that understand you can't pick Scampi up, she doesn't like it however she will come lay beside you. When Scampi gets over stimulated by all the love and attention she is asking for she can love nibble on you, it doesn't hurt and when you tell her no she will back away to calm down.

Scampi has been spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Consider adding her part of your family today! Apply today at pinkdogrescue.org

Why adoption is a great option

Scampi, a Hanover Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
