My story

Butch is a strong, energetic boy that loves tennis balls. He is extremely treat motivated. He has lots of energy so would do best with a family who is active. His favorite things to do is eat and play fetch. Butch does well with some dogs with proper introduction.

Butch is a PAWS basic obedience graduate from Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility
He will need re-enforcement of his training to maintain what he learned at the PAWS programs. Butch know over 40 tricks that he learned from the PAWS program.

More about this shelter

We are a progressive animal welfare group in Dona Ana County. We run an adoption center, the local pet food bank, a prison dog training program, and a thrift store. We rescue most of our animals from the municipal shelter and then ready them for adoption.
