Meet Nisha!

This beautiful 3.5-year-old grey tabby is as smart as she is sweet. Nisha is an observant, gentle cat who enjoys lounging near her people—especially curled up at the foot of the bed or beside you on the couch. While she may be a little shy at first, she warms up with patience and on her own terms. Once she does, you’ll be rewarded with quiet companionship, kneading sessions, and the occasional adorable meow-conversation.

Nisha loves string toys, chasing anything novel, and can’t resist a churro treat or some Greenies. She’s also a fan of fresh water (bonus points if it’s from the faucet!) and watching the world go by from a window perch. Though she prefers to initiate affection, she enjoys chin and head scratches once she’s comfortable.

Nisha is fully litter box trained and has done well living with another cat. She'd do best in a home that gives her time to adjust, keeps her mentally stimulated, and offers her love on her own timeline. She’s a special girl who thrives with gentle humans who understand that the best connections are the ones built slowly.

1.
Submit Application

Complete an adoption application for either a Dog or Cat here: https://www.pupstarzrescue.org/application

2.
Interview

We will review your application, set up time to discuss your needs/preferences, and conduct reference checks.

3.
Home Check

We will schedule a virtual home check that takes approximately 20-30 minutes, talking to you about adoption and any concerns you may have.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your interview is complete, we will connect you with the foster parent to meet the dog/cat.

5.
Pay Fee

You will pay the adoption fee and take home your new family member!

6.
Take the Pet Home

You'll bring home your new family member!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
