My story

Meet Miss Willow, perfectly cool Plott-Lab mix who is in need of a new forever home. Willow has lived her entire live with her current family. Unfortunately, her adult human sister has developed an allergy towards Willow, so she is now having to find a new home with the help of Jillian of Training to the Rescue. Willow is a big girl at 85lbs and she is 7 years old. She does have a few pounds to lose as she’s been allowed to put on a few pounds. Willow is still active and would like to be more active! She’ll make a good exercise partner and is looking for someone committed to her fitness. Willow knows her basic commands, but needs you to be her leader and reinforce her training. Willow is smart and is a real pleaser. Willow gets along great with other dogs and older kids are best for her due to her size. Her current owner said she can be protective in her home with strangers. She is affectionate and loving and worthy of an awesome new home and a second chance at her truly forever home. Willow is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. For any questions, please email Jillian at or go to to complete an adoption application right away. Please help us, help Willow!

Why adoption is a great option

Willow, fun& friendly!, a Peachtree Corners Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Peachtree Corners, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Peachtree Corners.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peachtree Corners already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peachtree Corners breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peachtree Corners paves the way for another one to be saved.
