My story

Fred is about 1 1/2 and has been in foster for 14 months. He was a semi-feral pup that was dumped with his siblings in KY so people continue to be initially scary BUT we have had some major improvements lately: he comes to his foster family for petting and even "boops" us with his nose to get attention, he is not as scared on neighborhood walks when we encounter people, he is starting to use his nose and sniff the world around him which is HUGE for a scared dog!

Fred needs a "pack" of his own so definitely at least one friendly confident dog for him to learn from.

He needs a fenced yard, no invisible fences as they would terrify him.

Fred cannot be placed with kids as they are scary. He is still spooky with my teenage son after 14 months. He alternates between "booping" him for pets and barking at him for doing something scary like wearing hiking boots in the house.

Fred is the sweetest, most submissive dog...he just gets scared.

He will need an owner experienced with fearful dogs that can give Fred time to progress at his own pace.
