My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Banjo. I am a 3-year-old Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix full of playful energy. My favorite game is fetch, and I am happiest when I have a ball in my mouth or when I get to explore hiking trails. I am easily motivated by both treats and games, so it is very easy to teach me new tricks. If my parents had to describe me, they would say I was excited, smart, playful, and curious. My parents adopted me as a rescue when they lived in Utah, and I very quickly adjusted to my new environment with them. Unfortunately, now that they have a new baby, they are unable to give me the care and attention I need.
I play very well with humans and other dogs, and I would love to find a home with another furry friend that I can play with. I am house trained and crate trained, and I know basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, and shake). I am well-suited for an active family who will be able to give me opportunities to explore and play.
