Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Loretta is a purebred, black & tan female bloodhound, approximate age 5-6 years. She was found on the side of the interstate nearly starved to death. She was heartworm positive when she entered rescue, but has been successfully treated and is now heartworm negative and healthy. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is a very friendly girl, getting along with other dogs, adults and children of all ages. She is a very gentle soul and would do well in a household with elderly adults or younger children. She is housebroken and prefers to be indoors. She will not stay outside in a fence. If left outside with no access to indoors, she will dig under or climb over a fence under 5 feet high and go looking for a place to get indoors. She loves to sleep in the bed at night a cuddle with her person and prefers the comfort of a sofa most of the day. She has excellent manners. She must be fed away from other dogs, though, because she will simply walk away and let the other dogs have her food instead of chancing a confrontation over it. Loretta is fostered in Birmingham, AL.
