Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Opal, “A Classic Torti with the Personality to Match.”
Opal came to us via the Saline County Shelter in Marshall, MO. She had just given birth to 4 fine kitties and needed a home for her and the family. When the President of Animal F.A.I.R., Nancy Curtiss heard about the Family thru our Vet Jane Waller in Marshall she went to the shelter right away and picked the family up.
Opal is about a year old. She came to us in March of 2021. She is a beautiful modeled, Torti kitty with the most warm, affectionate personality. She is a fairly petite girl who may not get much bigger than she is today. She about 7 pounds today. Her personality is a wonderful mix of a mature cat with a bit of kitten mixed in. She follows you everywhere and loves human companionship. She is as gentle as she can be and loves being picked up, carried around and talked to. She savors attention.
Opal presently lives with the President of Animal F.A.I.R. in SE Sedalia where she has made herself quite comfortable. She lives with several other younger foster kitties. She enjoys watching them play and rough house. She hisses them down if they become too annoying – typical Torti!
Opal is in excellent health, has a very big appetite for dry and canned food, of course loves cat treats of all kinds. She has been fully Vet’d, spayed, has received all her shots, been wormed and has an implanted identity tag. She is fully litter box trained. She needs to be an indoor only girl as she is not familiar with the perils of the outdoors.
Opal would be a wonderful addition to your family. Please call or email us to discuss the possibilities. If you would like to visit Penny please call and we can arrange that with you. As an adult kitty the adoption fee is $75.00.
Should you wish to proceed with adopting Opal you can download a copy of our Adoption application at our Blog Page. Here is a link to that site.

Thanks for looking!
