Wow wow wow, check out those beautiful big blue eyes!!! That’s the first thing you’ll notice when you first meet Durango! This dashing dude is a 1-year old, 35-pound Pointer mix who is smart, sweet, and softer than silk!
Durango is 100% housebroken and crate-trained. He doesn’t make a peep while snoozing in his crate during the daytime hours, and likewise, he sleeps soundly through the night in there, until it’s time to rise and shine. What a good boy!
Very active and athletic, Durango is a great dog for long walks, challenging hikes and high-energy sprints. His favorite game is tug-of-war, and he loves burning off calories and problem solving, especially if it involves sports.
Durango is deaf, but it has zero impact on his quality of life. He easily works around it and he even understands several commands. If you show him the proper hand signal, he will respond to sit, come, down, and crate. To get his attention while going for a walk, if you jiggle his leash, he’ll look at you to see what you want. Pretty amazing!
Cuddly and affectionate, Durango is a big mush who just wants to be loved. He likes being being touched, pet, and caressed. Durango has a few quirks, such as being barky toward other dogs and he’s a bit fussy with food, but his behaviors are easily corrected and he’s very eager to please.
Durango is completely trustworthy around humans and will be an ideal buddy for any person seeking a loyal canine companion and four-legged fitness partner!
