Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eritrea is a 3.5-year-old German Shepherd Dog, which requires a lot of time and attention. She is loving and extremely affectionate with my wife and I and our 2 year old, and she will never decline a walk or playtime. Like most Shepherd breeds, she can be territorial and needs reassurance and clear commands to feel safe. She can be reactive to loud sounds or sudden movements, which will get better with time and training. Eritrea is very intelligent and energetic, and she can be downright goofy. One of her favorite toys is a frisbee ring, which she will toss into the air and catch inverted to wear around her head like a horse’s bit.
Eritrea is best suited for a small family with older kids and plenty of time to devote to her, both in playtime and in training. She has the potential to be an amazing working dog and would be happiest with clear boundaries, commands, and expectations. An ideal home would be with an experienced owner/trainer of working dogs.
