My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harold is a very sweet and friendly senior dog. He lost his home after his owner was hospitalized and Harold came to our local shelter. He currently lives well with other dogs and particularly enjoys gentle dogs who like to cuddle. Harold is a senior dog at 8 years old and recently had a full dental scaling which required 3 teeth to be extracted but has not affected his ability to eat. He currently eats Honest Kitchen small breed kibble. Like many small dogs, Harold has luxating patellas (hind legs) which does not require surgery but does require daily joint supplements. Harold also benefits from anti-inflammatory meds as needed.

Harold is a lap dog, cuddle bug and absolute sweetheart. He does bark, however, when he is nervous or hears someone at the door, so we do not recommend apartment living. More information and videos of Harold can be found on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) @hopefulheartsrescue
