Meet Deanna, a cute little kitten who joined our Safe House along with her brother Sam, desperate to break out of Chicago Animal Control. Because the facility is so overcrowded, the chances of any kitten escaping alive are pretty slim. Deanna and her brother were among the few lucky ones.

Deanna and her brother were born on April 29th. As is typical of kittens, they are very playful, active, inquisitive, and loving. Deanna enjoys the company of cats, dogs, and people.

We sure would love for Deanna to be adopted with her brother. At a minimum, she requires placement into a home which already has a young cat to keep her company.

We at BAARK believe consistent and comprehensive vet care is important throughout the life of any animal. Deanna has received all vaccination plus two boosters. Included in her adoption fee are her spay and microchip. We do not do early spay-neuter of our animals, recognizing the potential long-term negative impact such can have. However Deanna must be spayed when old enough.
