IN Lisbon Falls - Meet Rooster, an adorable 9 month old Australian Cattle Dog mix. He loves his people and will follow you from room to room just to make sure you're never alone! The welcome home he gives with his wagging tail, twisting body and big doggie smile will make you smile too, even on your hardest days!
His foster reports that Rooster loves going for walks and thoroughly enjoys their daily hikes. He's been doing 3-4 miles on weekend hikes and 1-2 miles on daily walks. He loves playing with his foster brother and working on basic training commands. He loves his water when out and about so always bring plenty for him to drink!
Rooster is a lively pup full of energy and goofy playfulness. He does 'sit' very well as long as you're in front of him while saying it. Before you open the door to outside as long as you tell him to 'stay' he does amazing! He's great on leash walking, rarely pulls.
Rooster gets along great with his foster's 2 year old male dog as well as any other dogs they've encountered during walks. He's also very good with cats, when neighborhood cat wanders over occasionally and they play really well together.
Rooster enjoys his snuggles and being loved on. He will be an amazing companion for any family lucky enough to scoop him up!
