My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nutmeg (brown + white) is a sassy, energetic girl with lots of personality. She has become an avid player of hide-and-seek, often found moseying her way underneath blankets or scurrying through tunnels. She loves to show off her speed by zooming around the room when she gets a burst of energy. Nutmeg has also artfully mastered the “bunny eyes”, making it nearly impossible to resist giving her a small piece of banana or a timothy biscuit. After she has had a long day of exploring, Nutmeg will flop over for some irresistible floor cuddles.

Ginger (tan + white) is a sweet, relaxed bunny who absolutely melts when you give her some head rubs (listen closely for that adorable tooth purring)! Playing with woven grass toys is her calling, and she loves to fling her favorite items across the room like an Olympic shot put athlete. When Ginger is not eating or jumping onto the backs of humans who lay down to pet her, she is comfortably napping in her room. She also has the cutest display of binkies when something very exciting happens. It’s contagious!

Ginger is prone to episodes of GI stasis. The cause is currently unknown, as her veterinarian has gone through every preliminary examination in the book – otherwise, she is a perfectly healthy bun! She is currently being put on a strict diet and gut motility medications to regulate her digestive tract … and perhaps even eliminate these troubles once and for all.

Both rabbits are extremely sociable around humans, well-behaved, and litterbox trained. They are just a year and half old in Fall 2021. Everyone that they have ever met has become wrapped around their little paws!
