My story

For more information about adopting Genny and her sister Dolly, please text or call Wendy with The Cats’ Cradle at (828) 334-6875.

Dolly was found behind a Dollar General store at the age of about 5 months old. She was very dirty and emaciated but extremely friendly so the person who rescued her was able to walk right over to her and scoop her up. Once she arrived at her foster home, she flourished and grew in to a sweet and loving little girl. Dolly has been spayed and has had all of her vaccines. She’s shy with new people that she meets, but she does warm up and will be a very sweet and gentle kitty who loves to sit on laps and get attention. She also loves to play and is very funny and carries her favorite toys all around the house.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require a contract that specifies that the cat be an indoor only pet and that the adopters take specific care with food, shelter and medical. We require that the adopters agree to return the cat to our care should they not be able to care for the animal any longer. We also offer a 30 day money back guarantee that the cat may be returned to our care if there is a failure to bond or other issues. We charge a $125.00 adoption fee for kittens, and $100 adoption fee for adult cats 1-6 years old. We lower the fee to $55.00 for elderly cats.
