Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pearl is 6 years old and we’ve had her since she was a puppy. Unfortunately we are moving out of state to take care of our aging parents and we aren’t able to take our pets with us.
At first Pearl can be a little nervous with other dogs, but she will soon get used to them and be happy to have a friend to play with. (We do have another dog in our home.) She’s been raised with cats and gets along well with them as well.
She loves people, but can be nervous of small children, up to about 7-8 years old. She has never growled or nipped at them, but she will try to stay away from them usually. (We have grandchildren come over all the time, and again, she’s not aggressive with them, just a little wary.)
She has a sweet disposition and like most golden retrievers, loves attention from her humans.
She is an indoor dog but of course will need a home where she can get exercise. She loves to swim if given the opportunity.
