My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meena is an Indian Desi dog that came to us from India in 2012. Our daughter brought her back after a visit to India where she saw Meena was being abused. After a few weeks with us we found Meena a home with an elderly lady and her greyhound who needed a companion. Meena spent the next 8 years with this wonderful lady until she died. At that time we took Meena back. We hoped Meena would fit in with our family. We now have a four year old terrier and a four year old grandson. As time has progressed, Meena has become more intolerant of our dog who is a still very much a playful pup. We also have concerns with Meena and our grandson. Loud noises and quick movements of a child are confusing for Meena as she wasn't raised with young kids. She’s never bitten anyone or anything but think she would prefer to be an only dog in a home. Meena is loving and smart….who howls to greet you and when you leave her. She would be a loving companion to someone who wants to share their life.
