Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This super happy girl is Yukie and she is a 3 month old mixed breed puppy! She and her 3 siblings were found dumped on a gravel road so we don't know what kind of mix they are. Some of them look a little Boxer, some a little Terrier, and maybe some Aussie or other cattle dog type breed. They all look a bit different so it makes it hard to pinpoint a breed but we do anticipate them being medium dogs around 40-55 pounds when fully grown.
Yukie is a very sweet puppy who loves cuddles! She is a little more timid then her brothers but a bit more social than her sister. Once you spend a little time with Yukie one on one she loves the attention and loves to have her belly rubbed while wagging her short little tail!
Yukie is a very smart girl and eager to please people. She has already learned the sit command and is working on laydown. She also does really well about not having accidents in her kennel during the day!
Yukie is UTD on vaccinations so far but she will need to come back to the shelter for Parvo boosters on September 18th and October 2nd. She has not yet been spayed or had her Rabies vaccination as she is too young. These are covered in her adoption fee if she is taken to the Corydon Vet Clinic to have them done in December when she is 6 months old. Her adopter would be welcome to take Yukie to a different clinic for any of the before mentioned items but would have to cover the cost.
Yukie gets along well with other dogs and seems to do okay with cats although she is a little afraid of them. We believe that Yukie would do well in a home with children given her sweet and gentle personality.
