My story

Kensi is special needs! She was originally rescued from a county shelter in Arizona where she was in rough shape. She is extremely fearful and noise sensitive, but also has significant head trauma as well as advanced Valley Fever. We've worked hard with her for months and she has really come along so we feel like she is finally ready for her happily ever after.
Kensi is 2 years old and would prefer to be the only animal in the home, she just wants to be in your lap and lounge around the house - she'd be a great match for a retiree with extra time and love.

Additional adoption info

Thinking about adopting from us? Fill out an application (available for download on our website) to start the process. We love making new friends! More often than not our adoptive family become close friends. TCF spends a lot of time with potential adopters ensuring they have all the support and tools necessary to making lasting placements. All of our adoptions start with a two week trial to make sure everyone is settling in properly. We do extensive testing with new and existing animals to ensure the happiness and safety of all. Have any questions about adoption? Just ask! If we don't have what you are looking for, we can also help you find it at another rescue or shelter.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based organization and rely entirely on volunteers and foster homes to continue saving lives! Contact us today and we can schedule a meet and greet with any of our adoptable pets. Thinking about adopting, but not quite sure you are ready? Fostering saves lives without the commitment! We provide all food, necessary equipment like collars, leashes, crates, etc. and of course cover all medical expenses! The only thing we ask is a caring home ready to help get them ready for their perfect family!

More about this rescue

The Churchill Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in September 2013 in Las Vegas, NV to fulfill the bucket list of a terminally ill dog by the name of Churchill the Polar Bear. We have rescued many perfectly adoptable animals from our local shelters, however, we pride ourselves on taking on the more difficult cases, like Churchill. We specialize in major medical such as heart conditions, as well as behavioral cases such as reactivity or aggression. Our founders have extensive backgrounds in animal behavior and are able to provide effective, gentle training and rehabilitation. Have any questions? contact us at: info@thechurchillfoundation.org
