Diesel is looking for the perfect family that will accept him and his quirks! At the shelter, Diesel has been great with all staff and volunteers that have handled him. He is an affectionate boy and loves his treats. His favorite enrichment items is the lick mat and waits patiently for it to get clipped onto his kennel gate. His best bud is a regular volunteer that always enjoys walking him. We found out recently that Diesel enjoys water as well and taking a dip in the local Fire Department's fountain is a new favorite past time of his! Diesel prefers people over other animals so he must be the only animal in the home. The ideal home would be somewhere that has a fenced in yard for him to have all to his own that is free from other animals as that can upset Diesel at times. Once inside the home, Diesel loves to cuddle and sleep at your feet while you prepare food in the kitchen. He is a special dog that is looking for an even more special adopter that is willing to work around Diesel's needs and in return there is no doubt Diesel will be the best companion you can ask for!
