Konner is a pure bred Golden Retriever. He will be 3 years old in March. We are moving and cannot take him with us.
He is a good boy but has some issues. He has a high prey drive and has killed chickens, so I wouldn't recommend him for a farm. I would also say that he would do better with teenagers because he gets excited and knocks young kids over. He can never get enough love and trys to boss you to give him more when you stop petting him. He is a fence escape artist.
He is however very loving and very smart. Knows sit, down, roll over, settle, stay and wait. Rides in the car great. Does good on a leash, does great hiking. He would probably be the perfect dog for an active family with older kids or no kids just due to his big size (75 lbs) and excitable nature. I expect him to settle down a lot in the next year or so as most Goldens do. He does very well with our cats indoors but if they are outside and they run from him, he will chase them. He gets along great with other dogs.
