My story

See video here https://youtu.be/TDGLpTPDSBc

9 month old sisters Sydney and Sofie need everyone’s help in sharing their plea. They want nothing more than to find a foster or adopter who will open their home to both of them so they can stay together.

The sisters are fun loving black Labrador puppies weighing in at 35 pounds each. They are currently staying with our trusted trainer so they will be properly prepared for a home of their own. Coming out of the shelter they were petrified and had no confidence. Thanks to our trainer's hard work they are well on their way. The sisters are comical, loving and silly. And they have a gentleness about them.

Since COVID restrictions have been lifted not many people seem to want to help the animals. We have been hard pressed to find fosters and adopters for kittens let alone two larger breed dogs. We want more than anything to find a home for them together.
Please, if you can help Sydney and Sofie by opening your heart and home to these sweet sisters please apply at zionsmission.org

We cover all costs for our dogs while in foster and they come with a lifetime of training. And I have plenty of videos I can share with you if you are interested.

At this time we do not have a physical location so we arrange individual meetings with potential adopters and fosters.

More about this rescue

Zion’s Mission Animal Rescue is a NYC based 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue, specializing in dogs. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, train, and find loving homes for as many abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals as possible. We are further dedicated to providing hospice care to those most vulnerable, our beloved seniors, and those who are terminally ill. Additionally, we work within our community to promote responsible pet ownership. Our rescue is comprised of a small group of extremely dedicated volunteers. We rely solely on life-saving donations from our generous supporters to complete a rescue from start to finish. At this time, we do not have a physical location so the number of animals we save is directly related to the number of foster homes we have available to us.
