Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet Lisa!
When we met Lisa, she lived on a chain in a backyard with several other dogs. Another dog had gotten off their chain and during a scuffle, Lisa got badly injured. We got Lisa to the emergency room, and she stayed for several days as she healed up and now she is ready to meet her forever family that will give her the life she has always deserved.
Lisa really enjoys humans, playtime, all the cuddles and belly rubs she can get, however, due to the trauma she experienced, she prefers to be the only dog.
Lisa is looking for a home with low dog traffic in the neighborhood. Seeing dogs from a distance is still kind of scary for her. Our behavior team has been helping her feel more comfortable, however, this will likely be a lifelong fear. Our team would love to help her adopter set her up for success!
If you are interested in Lisa, please fill out the form for her and if a good fit, someone will get back to you shortly.
