Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Livingston, Lucia, Perry and Violet all came from a horrible situation in Florida . They were living at a cat sanctuary with over 400 other cats where they were supposed to be well taken care of until they found a loving home. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. They were greatly neglected and some were used for medical experiments. Complaints were filed and the sanctuary was investigated. Because of the horrible neglect and animal cruelty, the sanctuary was shut down. Some of the cats had to be humanely euthanized and the others found new homes or rescue. The University of Florida Vet School was involved with the case and contacted Good Mews to ask if we would be willing to take some of the cats involved in this situation. Of course we could! We told them we would be happy to help in any way we can! They then transported 4 wonderful cats to us!
Violet is a little shy at first, but who can blame her? She has been through a very scary situation! She thought the last sanctuary was going to find her a new home, but instead she was neglected and bad things happened to her. But we promised her nothing like that would ever happen to her at Good Mews! We love our kitties and would never do anything to hurt them. We promised we would find her a loving home where she would be treated like a princess. We think she deserves that. So if you are looking for a kitty that you want to dote on, come by and meet Violet!
Update-Violet has really come around since being at the shelter! She is such a sweetheart and loves all the attention she is getting from the volunteers. She is a total lap-cat and wants nothing more than for someone to pet and love on her. She would do great as an only cat or with one other cat.
