My story

REQUIREMENTS: Home ownership, fenced in yard (no electric fence) No small children
Toby and Tori were found as 5 month old stray puppies and placed in a shelter in Georgia. They had been horribly neglected and were suffering from severe skin conditions. As such, they were placed on the euthanasia list. WAGS was able to get them completely vetted and into a wonderful foster home in Georgia, where they healed, received all their vaccinations, and were spayed and neutered. Toby and Tori are each looking for homes of their own, or can go together but not necessary. No small children (under 12) as they are big pups who still jump and need to learn basic training manners. They have been good with some dogs but are too high energy for others, so it would need to be a good match. Note, they were in horrible shape their first six months so only began feeling well enough to act like pups in the past month or two. They have never met cats. They are loving sweet dogs who are ready to go to their forever homes.

As a foster based rescue, any meets and greets are arranged on a case by case basis

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group committed to saving abandoned, abused and at risk animals. We are completely dependent on fundraising and donations. We do it to decrease the horrific reality of over 2000 dogs and twice as may cats who face euthanasia daily in the US as a result of lack of homes. We also partner with other rescues to provide funding for emergency vetting, boarding, transport, foster support and supplies to maximize the saving of animal lives.
